  • Charlie's Queer Books 465 North 36th Street Seattle, WA, 98103 United States (map)

Alex Iantaffi is chatting with Lucie Fielding about their new titles, Trans & Disabled: An Anthology of Identities and Experiences and How to Understand Your Relationships: A Practical Guide!

About the Books:
Trans & Disabled: An Anthology of Identities and Experiences: This anthology brings together vulnerable stories, poems, plays, drawings, and personal essays. They explore how we make sense of ourselves, our intersections of identities and experiences, of how we are treated, and how much love we are capable of, sometimes even for ourselves.

How to Understand Your Relationships: A Practical Guide: This down-to-earth guide is the ultimate companion for anybody who wants to examine their place in the world -- how we relate to ourselves, and others. With considerations of historical, cultural, and developmental contexts; explorations of relationship diversity as it manifests in queerness, the ace and aro spectrum, non-monogamy and neurodivergence; and a look towards deeper, compassionate, interdependent ways to relate - this book will help people of all ages, backgrounds and identities explore their relational world.

About the Author: Alex is the author of the award-winning book Gender Trauma,  co-author of How to Understand Your Gender, How to Understand Your Sexuality, How to Understand Your Relationships, Life Isn’t Binary, and Hell Yeah Self-Care: a Trauma-Informed Workbook, and editor of the Trans and Disabled anthology. They’re also a family therapist, WPATH-certified gender specialist, sex therapist, Somatic ExperiencingⓇ practitioner, and clinical supervisor, with over two decades of clinical experience. Alex hosts the podcast Gender Stories and the YouTube series Warm Take Wednesdays with Dr. Alex
